The New STS Water Manager – the entire network solution

Automated Control Engineering and STS introduce the new Water Manager. This latest release from STS provides multiple features and benefits to ensure optimal functionality.

The STS Water Manager features and benefits:

  • Managing data loggers and reading recorded data from any location at any time.

  • Automatic generation of a warning message if an out-of-limits condition occurs.
Highly flexible and cost-efficient monitoring of water levels and temperatures of rivers and lakes.

  • Communication for reading data and configuring the system occurs via GSM/GPRS and radio (433 MHz).

  • Registers water levels of 0 to 250 m and temperatures of -5 to +80°C.

The measuring hardware for GSM/GPRS and radio may be easily installed in a 50mm-tube or 100mm-tube. It consists of two elements:

  • A highly accurate pressure and temperature sensor with stainless steel or titanium casing exhibiting a 0.1% accuracy of the end-scale value as regards pressure/water level and a 0.3°C accuracy with regard to temperature.

  • Data logger equipped with a memory able to store up to 250.000 values / automatic monitoring of its operating conditions / measurement interval may be set at 2s to 12 h

The WEB Water Manager software offers a clear overview of all data loggers. In addition, it enables their configuration and monitoring of measuring data. Data may be downloaded directly into the customised analysis software or an Excel spreadsheet.

FEAS Power supply with integrated Buffer module SSE90

Short duration voltage drops in line supply, generated by an overload or by switching operations, are often the reason for momentary interruptions of the DC supply. If the DC Circuit is not buffered, the consequence may be a serious system crash or other system malfunction.

FEAS has created a solution for this problem with the new FEAS SSE90, distributed nationally by Automated Control Engineering Group (ACE). FEAS combined the advantages of a modern and compact switch-mode power supply with a maintenance-free buffer-module which uses high capacity double layer capacitors as storage elements to create the SSE90.

This feature offers the user many benefits compared to battery buffering, such as periodic replacing of batteries being no longer necessary and no gas discharge as with batteries removing the need for additional ventilation. Also due to the short charging time, the SSE90 is rapidly ready for buffering again after a line interruption.

The compact design of this buffer module is especially made for a space-saving, DIN-rail mounting. Total encapsulation with a special resin makes the device shockproof and suitable for a tropical environment. This high industrial quality, along with the wide operating temperature range, allows for applications in many fields.

- Special Advantages of the SSE90
- Maintenance-free operation
- No battery used
- Parallel connection possible
- Wide range input 85 – 270Vac
- Suitable for tropical environment
- Short circuit and overload proof
- Remote monitoring by Relay
- High storage capacity
- Safety acc. to VDE, EN. UL,CSA
