Weber Insertion Flow Meter – Smart Meter 4115.30sm

Automated Control Engineering Group (A.C.E.) in partnership with Weber Sensors introduce the Smart Meter 4115.30sm Insertion Flow Meter. The calorimetric principle technology incorporated into the design of this insertion flow meter along with the application of the 1/7th insertion law, allows for accurate flow metering even at low flow rates.

It can measure flow of clean or dirty water, oil, glue, pastes, even wastewater and slurry. Because the smart meter does not contain any moving parts, such as paddlewheels or turbines, there is no risk of clogging or mechanical damage, the smart meter operates maintenance free. An optional hastelloy or titanium body construction is available for aggressive media.

  • Accurate flow metering even at very low flow rates

  • Linearized analog output for inter-facing with recorders, ratemeters, PLC's

  • Easy insertion depth adjustment for pipes from 1.5" to 24" diameter

  • Solid State design. No maintenance as there are no moving parts to stick or wear out

  • Ideal for handling aggressive and hard to measure media

  • Compact, rugged industrial design

  • Minimal inventory requirements one smart meter fits all pipe sizes up to 24”

New battery package for the DL/N 70

Automated Control Engineering Group (A.C.E.) are please to announce that STS has optimised the battery package belonging to the DL/N 70 as well as increasing the battery lifespan three to four times.

The battery change has also been simplified and now the battery casing is identical for all cable lengths. With these changes the product is IP68 rated.

With regard to the optimisation measures, STS ensured that the robust construction would be improved and the installation in a 2“ tube would still be possible. In addition, all accessories can still be adapted and the new battery package can be connected to your current data logger.

Features of the DL/N70:
  • Any measuring range between 0...1 m and 0...250 mH20 available (higher upon request)
  • Conductivity module (20 µS/cm...20mS/cm) with integrated temperature measurement (option)
  • Temperature measurement (option)
  • Measuring interval adjustable from 0.5 s to 24 h
  • Data memory for up to 500'000 measurement values
  • Recording of measured values as a function of time or threshold value (option)
  • Battery can be replaced on-site

MLC 9000+ Multi-Loop DIN-Rail Process Control System

Automated Control Engineering Group (A.C.E.) welcomes the new generation MLC 9000+ to the West brand product range. Like its proven predecessor the MLC 9000, the MLC 9000 + represents a modular, multi-loop temperature control system consisting of a bus control module (BCM) and up to eight loop control modules (LCM’s) per BCM.

An MLC 9000+ system comprises a communication module and up to 8 control modules. Communication module options currently include Modbus, DeviceNet, PROFIBUS, CANopen, Ethernet/IP and Modbus/TCP. Control modules are available with 1, 3 and 4 loops. Heater break inputs are available on 1 and 3 loop modules.

Design Principles:
  • Behind the panel (BTP), multi-loop temperature control system
  • Compact, modular DIN rail mount construction
  • Operates either in a stand-alone system or in a PLC environment
  • Offers highest number of field bus protocols
  • Lowest cost per loop and smallest size in the industry
  • Easier to use PC configurator for enhanced application versatility
  • Enhanced tuning algorithm
The MLC 9000+ provides exceptional temperature control and performance - regardless whether you are using multiple discrete controllers or an embedded PLC temperature control - to ensure that machine output and machinery is not compromised
