ANG1(E) Ethernet/IP & Modbus TCP Integrated Stepper Motor Indexer + Drive - AMCI

Automated Control Engineering Group (A.C.E.) and AMCI introduce the ANG1(E) Integrated Stepper Controller/Drive. The ANG1(E) adopts a ground breaking approach to PLC-based motion control systems.

AMCI’s ANG1(E) eliminates difficulties in the integration of motion controllers with PLC-based automation systems, with a revolutionary design that leverages modern networks to deliver unmatched value to automation users, regardless which PLC is being utilised.

The ANG1(E) integrates a stepper controller and driver into one compact package that communicates with the host PLC controller over the network. All programming is performed by the same software used to configure the PLC.
  • Ethernet/IP
  • Works with all PLCs that support Ethernet/IP or Modbus TCP
  • 1 to 6 axis of motion control
  • Hybrid control: Servo performance using Stepper hardware.
  • Operate via open or closed loop
  • DIN rail mounting for simple, standard installation
Automated Control Engineering Group Pty Ltd (A.C.E.) specialises in the national supply of process and automation control equipment to a diverse range of industries that encompass the water, industrial, food, mining and petrochemical markets. STS Elastomer-free transducer

Automated Control Engineering (A.C.E.) and STS introduce a new pressure transducer that is free of elastomers. For applications in which O-rings are either undesirable or impermissible, a measuring cell with a fully welded process connection is now available.

As the standard welded version is designed only for pressures up to a maximum of 250 bar, STS has developed a new elastomer-free version that incorporates a metal to metal seal that is capable of withstanding higher pressure ranges.

Dictated by the required pressure range and the sensor’s compatibility to various media, the new elastomer-free transducer is manufactured from a range of high grade materials. Stainless steel (1.4435 / 316L) continues to be used for pressure ranges spanning 25 to 1,000 bar, while for applications exceeding 1,000 bar, super duplex steel (1.4501) is used in the construction of both the transducer housing and process connection. For further chemical compatibility, the transducer and process connection can also be manufactured from Inconel.

The new metallically sealed transducer is suitable for a configurations covered within the TM, ATM and PTM product groups.

HT-20C Single-turn Stainless Steel Resolver Transducer

Automated Control Engineering (A.C.E.) and AMCI introduce the HT-20C stainless steel resolver transducer. Reliability was the chief consideration when AMCI designed the HT-20C stainless steel resolver transducer. The HT-20C is uniquely qualified to withstand the world's harshest environments, including but not limited to steel mills, mining applications, ship loading, and other heavy industry.

HT-20C performance begins with a 5/8" stainless steel shaft supported by a an over-sized double row sealed bearing. The rotor of the brushless resolver is built on the input shaft, minimizing component count & maximizing reliability.

The HT-20C boasts an IP67 rating and survives washdowns and corrosive environments by design. Connectors to the resolver are made through a standard .50" NPT fitting to a plug-in connector.

The AMCI HT-20C can be specified to suit food grade applications with complete confidence. The HT-20C's all stainless steel shaft and body constitute a hard, non-porous material that does not support growth of mold, mildew, or bacteria; providing a hygienic, easy to clean solution for food grade installations.
  • 304 stainless steel housing & shaft
  • IP67 rated; exceptional durability in harsh environments
  • Ideal for high-shock applications & food grade installations
  • 5/8" stainless steel shaft for superior shaft loading
  • 100% compatible with AMCI's complete line of resolver interface products

Hengstler F14 Motor Feedback System

Automated Control Engineering (A.C.E) and Hengstler introduce the F14 Motor Feedback System. The F14 offers compact package dimensions and a pluggable pin header. A compliant tether allows easy mounting with high tolerance to motor shaft movement and 30 degrees of adjustment to align the signal outputs to the shaft position.

A superior optical configuration allows for generous internal component clearance eliminating potential damage at high ambient operating temperatures. High temperature rated grease is standard for extended bearing life.

The use of optically-generated signals for Brushless DC (BLDC) servo control provides higher accuracy and reliability by eliminating the hysteresis found in competitive units with hall effect sensors, ensuring maximum performance and reliability of the servo system.
  • Compact hollowshaft motor encoder, ideal for BLDC, DC-Servo and Stepper feedback
  • Incremental & commutation
  • Phased Array Technology
  • Up to 5 000 ppr
  • Frequency response to 500 kHz
  • Operating temperature up to 120°C
  • Through hollow shaft up to diameter 8 mm
  • Stator coupling
  • External diameter 40 mm
  • Cable plug-in radial/axial
