AMCI SD31045 Microstepping Stepper Motor Driver

Automated Control and AMCI introduce the SD31045 stepper motor driver. The compact and powerful SD31045 stepper motor driver is a market leader in the 4.5 amp current range. Incorporating a 310 Vdc motor supply bus, the SD31045 provides stepper motors with ample power for arduous applications. Readily accessible DIP switches are an integrated feature which enables easy motor current and micro stepping selection.

The SD31045 stepper drive incorporates a range of safety features. One of which is an interlock connection to prevent injury if the motor connector is removed while the driver is powered. Short circuit protection (phase to phase and phase to ground) and over temperature circuitry are two more of the protection features built into the AMCI driver.

AMCI stepper drives provide the ideal solution for machinery based applications when performance and reliability are critical.

  • Speeds up to 50 rps (3000 rpm)
  • 16 user selectable step resolutions up to 50,800
  • Input frequency up to 2MHz
  • 310 V bus
  • Outputs current up to 4.5 Arms, selectable in 0.1A increments
  • Automatic current reduction
  • User-selectable current loop gain for performance fine tuning

GSM communication module for data loggers

Automated Control and STS introduce the GSM communication module for its range of data loggers. The GSM is a reliable and durable communication module that can be used to assist in the continuous monitoring of ground and surface waters.

The GSM module is constructed with a chromate conversion coated aluminium housing and incorporates stainless steel ports to ensure its long term durability in the field. The module also combines a temperature compensated real time clock to ensure accurate time and date stamping throughout the year.

The GSM can easily transfer data directly to an office based computer, or if preferred, to a mobile device via SMS.
  •  Operating temperature: -20…55 °C
  •  Data transfer: GSM
  •  Frequency band: 900, 1800/1900 MHz (Triband)
  •  Materials: Aluminium (Housing)
  •  Feature: Battery operation
  •  Readout time: 36s/1000 measurement values
