SIZE 15 MAGNETIC ENCODER RESISTS SHOCK, VIBRATION, AND COLD

Automated Control Engineering (A.C.E.) in partnership with AMCI introduce a heavy-duty size 15 magnetic encoder that resists shock, vibration, and cold temperatures.

Based on a magnetic design, AMCI's ME15 rotary shaft encoder is available in either SSI or Analog output versions. Designed for cost sensitive applications that require bullet-proof reliability, the ME15 magnetic encoder measures just less than 1.5" in diameter and is engineered for heavy-duty operation across a variety of industries, such as use on construction machinery, gantry cranes, filling plants, utility vehicles, and any industrial application classified as heavy-duty.

The encoder's IP67 rating protects against dust and moisture, and the sensor's compact design only relies on two components, ensuring trouble free operation. Plus, AMCI’s ME15 encoder boasts an operating and storage temperature range of -40ºC to 85ºC, capable of withstanding various environmental conditions.

ASM Magnetic Angle Sensor PRAS5EX

Automated Control Engineering Group (A.C.E.) and ASM welcome the PRAS5EX. The PRAS5EX is a new dust-Ex proof absolute magnetic angle sensor in a flat stainless steel housing.

The PRAS5EX uses the magnetic measurement principle to measure rotary angles from 0-360°. The shaft version of the PRAS5EX can do a maximum of 10,000 r.p.m. and can withstand temperatures from -20°C to +40°C.

PTM/N/SDI-12 Pressure Transmitter for Level and Temperature Measurement

Automated Control Engineering Group (A.C.E.) along with STS introduce the PTM/N/SDI-12. The PTM/N/SDI-12 series is part of a comprehensive range of pressure transmitters specifically designed for the measurement of depth and level in water, waste water and tanks.

The series provides a conventional SDI-12 interface. Features such as Kevlar strengthen cable, titanium, ballest weights, dataloggers etc. broaden the installation opportunities. The PTM/N/SDI-12 is fully submersiable (<1” diameter) and has a range of 40" WC to 360 psi.

WEST 8080

Automated Control Engineering Group (A.C.E.) introduces the West 8080 temperature and process indicator. The 8080 offers high accuracy temperature or process inputs. The custom-designed display is larger than other instruments of this size, and can be set to change colour to indicate alarm status.

The WEST 8080 has an output configuration of up to 3 in total; maximum 2 for alarms & maximum 1 for retransmission of PV. The LED display allows viewing of multiple values including the process variable, alarm values, maximum value, minimum value and elapsed time since reset.

FEAS Mini-UPS for rail mounting - LDR30

Automated Control Engineering Group (A.C.E.) and FEAS introduce the new Mini-UPS LDR30MH24 with built in power supply. The LDR30 guarantees constant, uninterrupted supply of power for the critical consumer. Supply-related data loss or equipment failure can be easily reduced by installing a Mini-UPS.

The FEAS LDR30 guarantees worldwide usability through the wide-range input from 85-270VAC. Simultaneously it is usable as a DC/DC Converter with an input range of 120-380 VDC. The output voltage is adjustable in a range from 22.5 to 29.5 VDC at 2.0A. The power electronics allow up to a 50% overload for short periods.

The outputs are short circuit and open circuit protected.

As special feature the electronics are encapsulated in epoxy resin, which prevents overheating of the unit by natural convection and makes the LDR usable under tropical conditions and harsh industrial environment. A multi-stage thermal power take-back scheme enables the mini-UPS to additionally protect against overheating.
