ACE announces IECEx certified pressure sensors from STS

Automated Control Engineering has taken a leading position in the market segment of pressure sensors for hazardous areas with its newly released IECEx sensors from STS.

With compact housings in stainless steel or titanium, measuring ranges of up to 1000 bar and reverse polarity / short circuit protection included, the ATM.ECO/Ex and ATM.1ST/Ex pressure sensors from STS provide the ideal solution for industries where reliable and accurate pressure sensing is required within hazardous areas.

The ATM.ECO/Ex and ATM.1ST/Ex have industry leading specifications that include;

• Up to three times full scale overpressure
• Accuracy of 0.10% FS on the ATM.ECO/Ex and 0.05% FS on the ATM.1ST/EX
• IECEx SEV 10.0003 certification for mining Gas Group 1
• Temperature ranges of up to 150 deg C

With a modular housing design, wide supply voltage range and standard industrial analogue outputs, the STS range of IECEx approved pressure sensors provide an ideal solution for applications within the mining and petrochemical industries.
