ASM WB25 tape extension position sensor

Automated Control and ASM have expanded the range of tape extension position sensors, with the introduction of the WB25 series.

The WB25’s highly flexible measurement tape is constructed out of a high grade stainless steel material that is 10 mm wide with only a 0.08 mm thickness. Due to its very smooth surface, the risk of icing is reduced. An integral tape dust wiper automatically cleans the tape as it is being retracted into the housing.

The angular sensing element consists of a magnetic encoder which translates the linear motion into an electrical signal. This extremely reliable magnetic encoder is highly shock and vibration resistant. This allows it to function under demanding environmental conditions. The rugged construction of the WB25 series provides for a long-life even under harsh operating conditions such as those found in off-highway vehicles and construction equipment. The space saving stainless tape design provides a small housing foot print with long measurement ranges
  • Standard IP64 enclosure rating (optional IP67 available)
  • Analog outputs: 0.5-10V, 0.5-4.5 and 4-20 mA
  • Digital outputs: CANopen, CAN SAE J1939 and SSI protocols
  • Linearity: +/- 0.05%
  • Measurement ranges: 12m, 15m, 20m and 25m
  • Compact housing

STS ATM.1ST/T analogue pressure and temperature transmitter

Automated Control and STS introduce the newly released  ATM.1ST/T and ATM.1ST/N/T analogue pressure and temperature transmitters for highly dynamic measurements.

With the advantage of a combined pressure and temperature sensors the ATM.1ST/Thttp://www.aceg.com.au/page14970/STSProductPage.aspx#STS%20ATM.1ST/T%20analogue%20pressure%20and%20temperature%20transmitter is very well-suited for a wide range of demanding applications that require reliable and accurate measurements.

Both the pressure and temperature process functions are contained in one elastomer-free process connection (i.e. all connections are welded). This means that the temperature sensor is located in the medium.
  • Pressure measuring range: 100 mbar…25 bar
  • Accuracy: ≤ ± 0.25 / 0.10 % FS
  • Temperature measuring range: -50…150 °C
  • Operating temperature: -40…125 °C
  • Process temperature: -50…150 °C
  • Output signal: 4…20 mA
  • Materials: Stainless steel

AR62/ 63 - THE ROBUST ENCODER FOR ALL ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS!

Automated Control and Hengstler introduce the heavy duty absolute encoder AR 62/63. The special features of the AR62/ 63 not only comprise of its particularly rugged enclosure, but also generously dimensioned, rigid ball-bearings.

The AR62/ 63 is designed to easily withstands highest accelerations, extreme climatic fluctuations and even underwater operation. In this way, the rugged absolute encoder is ideally suitable for applications in wind farms, marine or utility vehicle applications, as well as for use in presses or wood and stone processing machinery: applications where high resistance to harsh environments and maximum reliability are required at the same time.
  • Single -and multi turn: Resolution up to 28 Bit
  • Wearless electronic multi turn: contact and battery less
  • Available interfaces are SSI, BiSS, CANopen and Analogue (0 ... 10 V or 4 ... 20 mA)
  • 300 N axial and radial load
  • 200 g shock resistance/ 20 g vibration resistance
  • Submersible: Protection class up to IP69K
  • High temperature range: -40 ... +100°C
  • Compact design: 32 mm mounting depth
